Limitations of the Bucket Pump

1) It is not suitable in boreholes having water levels deeper
than 50 ft, even if the yield is high.

2) It is not appropriate for large villages.

3) The casing cap cover is generally not locked and therefore the
borehole is not fully protected against possible acts of
vandals.
