Quality Enhancement Plan
Department of Computer Sciences
The department faculty have the qualifications and authority to
develop the department's
mission,
educational
and
research objectives,
and educational
and
research outcomes.
The faculty are charged with
assessment and evaluation of our
educational
and
research
activities in an effort to continually improve them.
The department relies on its
constituents
to help determine and evaluate objectives and outcomes,
and to suggests ways in which the department can improve.
We have an established
mission statement
developed to support and serve our various
constituencies.
The two primary thrusts of our mission are to deliver a superior
computing education and to discover new computing knowledge through
research and scholarship.
